Old Mullae 올드문래
Tucked away in the back streets near Mullae Art Village, lies Old Mullae, a factory turned cafe and pub.
After an uneventful search for good photo opportunities in Mullae Art Village, Old Mullae, with its European-Industrial decor, and its warm ambiance, was a much welcomed reprieve from the cold winter wind.
The largely wooden interior and furnishing contributed significantly to the rustic and cozy vibe of the place while the candles on every table certainly helped soften the ambiance amid the loud industrial tones from the large art installations on the wall. In all, the environment was warm, comfortable and without a doubt, unique.

Aside from being a cafe, Old Mullae also serves a comprehensive variety of draft beers and food such as the sausage platter which is big enough to be a full meal for 2. Not wanting to eat too much before we headed to our pre-planned dinner spot, we decided to order a Cafe Latte (W 4,500) along with a croissant (W 2,000) and a maple pastry (W 1,500). While the coffee was a delight, we couldn't help but feel that the pastry would have been better if they could be warmed up prior to serving.
Nonetheless, it was still a good experience at Old Mullae and we were fortunate to beat the crowd since we arrive early. Looking forward to returning soon to try the huge assortment of draft beers and the mouth-watering platters.
